I ordered from Mag-Lite the shipping felt like it took forever. The tracking barely changed, so I kept checking it and getting more annoyed each time. By the time it finally showed up, it was way later than I expected and the whole thing just left me frustrated.

Trying to use the site was more annoying than I expected.
At least for me, the menus felt clunky, and I kept clicking around just to find basic product details. The pages also seemed to load a bit slowly on my end, and the checkout process wasn’t as clear as I would’ve liked.
I ended up giving up before placing an order because it felt like too much hassle. The flashlights themselves might be great, but my experience with the website wasn’t good...

I ordered a black 3D maglite, and somehow a silver one showed up instead. The packing slip also listed the wrong batteries, so it was just one of those “wait, what did I even order?” moments.

I tried getting it sorted out, but it turned into slow email replies and no real clear answer. I mean, it wasn’t a huge purchase or anything, but still... if the basic item is wrong, that’s kind of the whole problem.

I ordered this from Mag-Lite and the flashlight itself works great, no complaints there. It feels solid and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. The only thing that threw me off was the packaging. For the price, I expected it to be a little nicer or at least more protected. The box showed up with a few dents and there wasn’t much padding inside, so I was a little nervous opening it. Luckily nothing was damaged, but still... a bit better packing would’ve made the whole thing feel more premium.

I’ve had my maglite for a while, i expected it to last a lot longer. Over time the switch started acting flaky, the beam got weaker, and trying to figure out what parts I needed to replace was more confusing than it should’ve been. The communication/instructions around repairs weren’t very clear, which was annoying. At that point, it just didn’t feel worth putting more money into it. Disappointed after using it for so long

I dropped it once and it still works, so that’s a plus. But the switch feels a little loose now, which makes me a bit hesitant to rely on it too much. It’s decent overall, but if you’re worried about durability or plan to use it in situations where failure would be a problem, I’d be a little cautious

i wanted to like it, but the grip just feels too slippery in my hand. it’s not terrible, but i don’t feel as secure holding it as i hoped

I was a little annoyed when I had to deal with the warranty, but they handled it well. They got it fixed quickly enough, and the whole process was easier than I thought it would be.

I was hoping this would light things up better, but it barely makes a difference in my garage. Maybe it depends on the space or what you're using it for, but for me it just wasn’t bright enough.

It works just fine overall, but the batteries don’t seem to last very long!! I find myself needing to replace or recharge them sooner than I expected.

It feels solid in the hand, nice and heavy which I actually like. But the finish on mine picked up scratches faster than I thought it would. Still works fine and the body seems tough enough, I just expected it to feel a little cleaner for the price. Not terrible or anything, just kinda average

I picked up this Maglite thinking it would just be a straightforward flashlight, but the battery compatibility has been more annoying than I expected. A couple of rechargeable batteries I already owned either didn’t fit quite right or made the light flicker, which was frustrating.

The flashlight itself feels sturdy and well made, so I don’t really have complaints there. But needing to go buy specific batteries makes it feel like there’s an extra cost they don’t make super obvious upfront. Maybe it’s mentioned somewhere in the details, but it definitely didn’t stand out to me. Not a bad flashlight, just kind of irritating.

I really like this thing!! The design is clean and simple, and it just feels cool in your hand... solid, smooth, and way nicer than I expected!!!

I’ve dropped my Maglite a couple times at work and it still turns on fine, so I’ll give it credit for being solid. That said, one harder fall put a small crack in the lens, which was frustrating. I also feel like the terms or expectations around what’s covered keep changing or aren’t super clear, which just makes it more annoying when something like that happens. Overall it’s not a bad flashlight, I just expected it to hold up a little better.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Maglite, so I really wanted to love this one. I bought it expecting the beam to reach a lot farther, especially given the size and price, but it fades out quickly when I’m using it outside. Up close it works fine, no real complaints there, but for what I needed, it just doesn’t throw enough light over distance. Kind of a bummer because I’ve trusted the brand for years, but this one didn’t quite live up to what I had in mind.

I checked around to see what other people were using and thought I had picked the right parts, but a couple didn’t fit like I expected. Maybe others have run into the same thing, but I feel like the site could make compatibility way clearer

The light feels solid and works like it should, so no real complaints there. Shipping was fine too. I just felt like for the price, I was expecting a little more overall, especially clearer instructions to make setup easier. It’s not a bad product, just feels a bit expensive for what you get.

I had an old Maglite sitting in a drawer because the switch had gone bad , and I figured it was probably done for . I checked Mag-Lite just in case and was surprised to see they still had replacement parts available . I ordered a new switch and lens , and both fit perfectly . Nice to fix it instead of tossing the whole flashlight .

I bought this Maglite expecting it to be solid like the old one I had, but the switch started acting up after only a few weeks. Annoying, especially since I figured this was one of those brands you didn’t have to worry about.

Sometimes it clicks and nothing happens, and other times I’m standing there pressing it five or six times just to get the light to turn on. I even tried contacting support, but I kept getting transferred around, which just made the whole thing more frustrating.

For a flashlight, the switch is kind of the main thing you need to work every time. i’m disappointed and wouldn’t buy this model again...

It’s just too heavy and awkward to carry around comfortably. I mean, common sense says if something barely fits in a pocket and feels bulky the whole time, it’s not really pocket-friendly
